The Education Secretary Gavin Williamson said schools would no longer use bubbles and students or schools would be contacted by NHS Test and Trace when needed.
The announcement came after Health Secretary Sajid Javid said that from August 16 those who are fully-vaccinated will no longer have to self-isolate if they come into contact with a COVID-positive individual.
