COVID-19: School catch-up tsar quits the government over funding row

Sir Kevan Collins, the government’s “catch-up tsar” has left the government saying the money available was “too little, too small”.

Sir Kevan is understood to have asked for £15bn but only got £1.4bn, which he said “falls far short of what is needed”.
