COVID-19: Why do some people doubt taking the coronavirus vaccine?

The government campaign to vaccinate the population relies on as many people as possible taking up the offer of immunity against COVID-19.

But with one recent poll suggesting that up to 12 percent of people will delay or avoid having the vaccine – and a further 16 percent unsure about taking it – the challenge facing the health service is not simply logistical.
