In recent weeks, thousands of people have taken to the streets of Havana in the largest and most significant anti-government demonstrations in decades.
Cubans are protesting about food shortages and high prices, as well as the handling of the COVID pandemic.
There have been reports that Cuban security services have attacked demonstrators, and that hundreds have disappeared or been detained.
Sky’s Martha Kelner spoke to one campaigner in Miami, whose brother is one of the many still missing.
