In this hilarious video, members of the Danish Royal Life Guard, who serve as a guard unit to the Danish monarchy, professionally and politely escort a family of ducks from the palace garden to a nearby harbour.

The clip shows the ducks strolling around the palace as if they owned the place.

The security team bustle around them, and desperately try to get them out of the Queen’s winter residence.

Tourists and people witness the funny scene, laugh, and capture the moment with their smartphones.

The Danish Royal House posted the following message on its official Instagram page:

“A family of ducks had yesterday taken a temporary residence in the garden behind Her Majesty the Queen’s Palace. Guards from the Royal Life Guards escorted the animals from the mansion across the castle square and led them to the harbor quay from where they jumped into the water and could safely swim on”.
