While David Dobrik and Josh Peck were absent from each other’s lives for a hot minute, they have reunited with a back to school mukbang that warmed our hearts and proved there is no beef between them.
What’s up? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and we recently reported that David Dobrik and Josh Peck hadn’t been in each other’s videos lately.
Causing us to worry that these two may no longer be friends! Like, until this weekend they hadn’t been on each other’s channels since May.
BUT all that worry went away!
Which is extremely out of character for these two.
They are known to make videos together all the time doing everything from giving relationship advice, going on set visits, and even taste testing protein bars.
So we were obviously concerned when we went around three months without seeing them on each other’s pages.
There were some theories floating around as to why they weren’t making videos together, could Josh have been too busy with his new baby?
Could Nickelodeon have something to do with it?
Or worst of all did they have a falling out?
I honestly don’t think I could handle that, these two are friendship goals.
And luckily, it looks like none of those are true because Josh just uploaded a video to his channel with David and their friend Jonah.
They did a back to school lunch Mukbang which, I have to admit, was a total throwback for me.
Aside from putting to rest any potential drama rumors, this video was amazing for a lot of other reasons.
Literally everything in their lunchboxes is something I brought to school for lunch at one point or another.
Especially that pizza lunchable.
You know getting to bring one of those to lunch was like winning the lottery back in elementary school.
And Josh told some funny stories about trading the healthy lunches his mom would pack him with his friends.
He said quote, “I had a weight problem and my mom was trying to intervene so dude this is what my lunches did look like and it was really sad. So one time when I was in kindergarten I found a wallet with $20 in it in the bathroom so I gave the $20 to my friend Jordan for his lunch and I was like that’s a fair trade now keep your f*cking mouth shut Jordan.”
But obviously Jordan went home and told his mom and the rest is hilarious. I’ll let Josh tell it himself.
I’m just happy because this video is exactly how Josh and David always are together so it looks like there was no drama and all the weird theories are false.
But you have to admit, it was kind of weird they were absent from each other’s channels for so long.
Obviously though, they are all good now even if there was some drama at one point.
And fans down in the comments section of Josh’s video were supporting their friendship.
One person wrote quote, “I feel like everyone forgot josh has a kid and can’t hang with David all the time.”
Which is a very valid point. Josh’s wife Paige, literally just had a baby less than a year ago.
They are still getting used to that new parent life and their schedules just may have not matched up.
Another fan said quote, “Everyone: david and josh aren’t friends / Josh: wanna eat lunchables with me?!”
And Josh even liked a comment that said quote, “THIS VIDEO IS FOR EVERYONE WHO THOUGHT JOSH’S AND DAVID’S FRIENDSHIP WAS OVER, ALL THE HATERS AND DRAMA CHANNELS CAN STOP NOW THANK YOU”
Ok ok we hear you and we agree, there is no drama here and we are just happy to see them making videos together again.
And fans are also extremely excited.
One person wrote quote, “i just watched 3 fully grown dudes eat packed lunches and talk about lunchables for 15 minutes?”
And another said quote, “HONESTLY I GOT SO EXCITED WHEN I SAW A MUKBANG WIT DAVID AND JOSH AGAIN ??”
And hopefully there are lots more videos like this to come.
But I want to know what you guys think.
