Grab the wine and schedule the girls’ night STAT because Demi Lovato may be getting her final rose from a Bachelor franchise fan-favorite contestant sooner than you can say ‘Paradise’.
What’s up guys and happy Monday, it’s Sussan Mourad back here on Clevver News, and the Bachelor franchise relationship we’ve all been rooting for for months now may finally be coming to life. We’ve all seen what can happen between celebs and contestants… Exhibit A: Gigi Hadid and Tyler Cameron … and the mad flirtation going on between Demi Lovato and Mike Johnson from Hannah B.’s recent season is lowkey heating up.
And clearly Demi is proof that going after what you want actually DOES pay off because she got the attention of Mike, and now things are slowly but surely heating up between the two. It’s no question Demi’s been very open about her crush on Mike since Hannah Brown’s season.
After Mike quickly became one of the fan-favorites, only to ultimately not receive a rose, fans were quick to look at Demi for her next move. During the season, Demi caught the attention of Bachelor Nation, when she would post flirty messages like, “Mike I accept your rose.”
In another exchange, when Mike had tweeted in search of his ‘future wife’ the week he left the show, Demi wrote, “I’M RIGHT HERE MIKE I’M RIGHT HERE BOO MY MOM ALREADY LOVES YOU TOO” annnnd we should all know by now that ‘all caps’ means BIZNESS.
Following Mike’s departure from the show, nothing really seemed to come about the flirtation, until Mike caught up with PeopleTV’s Reality Check, where he revealed that the two had not connected yet, nor had they exchanged any ‘freaky texts’ at all.
Okkkkkk, good to know, I guess?
He went on to say QUOTE, “She would definitely be cool to reach out to, but neither one of us have reached out to each other. I think she’s sexy, she’s got a nice little booty on her and she has good voice.”
Mike also gushed to E! News about Demi earlier this year, admitting that he was flattered when she tweeted him before he left the show during Hannah B’s season. He said QUOTE, “It made me feel sexy. It made me feel good. It’s pretty awesome; it’s pretty cool, I’m not gonna deny it.”
Uhmmm, how could it not?! Do you see the smokeshow that is Demi Lovato, Mike?!
He continued on to say, however, that, “She’s still a human being, just like I am, and if we were to meet up, I’m not gonna be giddy at all. I’m going to be like, ‘What’s up, sexy? You got a nice little booty on you. Let’s talk.’”
Thankfully after all this back and forth banter, we fast forward to literally now, and I am happy to report some good news for y’all. The singer recently made headlines after posting one of her usual Hot Girl Summer bikini photos, only this time got all sorts of honest in her post, flaunting her body completely unedited… and being damn proud of it.
Alongside her post, she opened up to fans, writing how proud of her body she is, and even admitted that many of her previous posts were actually photoshopped.
Even more shocking was the comment Mike had left on her post, that wrote, “Look at me like that again… Love yaself” and insert like, 12 kissy emojis. Ok come on, can these two just seal the deal nowww, orrrr….?
Demi then carried on the conversation in the most 2019 way possible: She added a few emojis of her own, and clearly that was enough of a response, because according to close sources, the two have actually met IRL, and are enjoying getting to know each other.
The source said QUOTE, “They did go on a date and it’s been going well. They seem to have a lot in common and are just enjoying getting to know each other.”
Slow and steady wins the race, amiright?!
