Former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin pleaded guilty Wednesday to violating George Floyd’s civil rights.
Chauvin, 45, who is already serving a 22-year-sentence after being convicted of murder in Floyd’s death in April, initially pleaded not guilty to the federal charge brought against him in May.
He changed his plea in a Minnesota courtroom on Wednesday, KARE-TV said in a report.
