Disabled people in the North of England get less support than other areas

A report finds people in the North of England with disabilities get less financial support than in other parts of the country, despite the government spending more than 2 billion pounds on adult social care throughout the pandemic.

It also revealed that people in the region also had some of the lowest levels of happiness and highest levels of anxiety.
