Donald Trump called the fraud trial he faces “political warfare” and “election interference” in a rant right outside the courtroom where he would begin testifying minutes later.
“This is really election interference,” the former president and GOP presidential candidate said. “This trial is ridiculous.”
“It’s political warfare, as you would call it, or political lawfare,” he said from in a courtroom hallway. “I got a lot of names for it.”
Trump also blasted Letitia James — the black attorney general — as racist and said that political operatives were orchestrating the case against him.
