Search and rescue efforts continued in Maui County, Hawaii, on Wednesday, August 9, as fast-moving and deadly wildfires tore through the area.
On Wednesday morning, officials said at least six people has been killed.
Footage posted to Facebook by the County of Maui shows severe fire damage around the harbor of Lahaina, a historic town in West Maui, on Wednesday afternoon.
More than 271 structures had been burned, the post said.
The National Weather Service issued red flag warnings for the area until Thursday morning.
