Energy worries ‘should act as a spur’ on net-zero transition, says Labour shadow minister

Labour’s Pat McFadden says recent worries over energy supply and prices “should act as a spur to get on with the transition to net-zero and more renewable and sustainable supplies”.

“Because the effect of all this will be rising prices for consumers, just when they’ve been hit with other things too,” he adds.
