Epstein files release:  How we got here and what to expect from DOJ records drop

The Justice Department is expected to release grand jury transcripts and internal memos in the Jeffrey Epstein case on Dec. 19. The move comes after Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act and President Donald Trump signed the act into law on Nov. 19. This set in a motion a 30-day deadline for the Justice Department to release most of its files related to investigations of Epstein.

Now that the deadline has arrived, here’s what to expect out of the Epstein files release.
