A Qatar Airways flight to Doha took off from Kabul airport – a charter flight – arranged after the airport became operational again.
After landing, Dominic Raab welcomed the help on behalf of the UK on social media.
He confirmed among other nationals aboard there were 13 Britons as he thanked his counterpart Al-Thani just a week on from his whistle stop tour of the related countries who are the mediation for countries wanting dialogue with the Taliban.
