Sky News has gained exclusive access to the smuggling middleman, responsible for organising the journeys of 10 of the people who died last month in the English Channel.
The agent, based in Iraqi Kurdistan, acts as an intermediary between the families of people desperate to reach the UK, and the smugglers profiting off them.
He spoke to Sky’s Middle East Correspondent Alistair Bunkall in Iraqi Kurdistan.
