Another day, another scandal in the beauty community! Listen up Draguns, because a fellow beauty influencer may be coming for Mama Dragun.
Just when we thought 2019 would end without another scandal in the beauty community, Jeffree Star came out of the woodworks and into our Twitter feeds.
What’s up guys it’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and Jeffree Star wants to make one thing clear to his fellow makeup CEOs. DO NOT send him a PR package if you aren’t actually friends with him.
Honestly, you could just send them to me instead, I’ll take all the PR packages you don’t want, Jeffree!
So let’s start at the beginning. Get ready, because the tea kettle has runneth over!
Nikita Dragun is getting ready to debut her brand new Face Palette from her fast-growing makeup brand, Dragun Beauty.
Side note, Clevver got a firsthand look at the Face Palette, and let me just say I don’t know how we ever lived without it!
Anyway, earlier this week, Nikita did an interview with Phillip DeFranco on his YouTube channel and opened up about defending James Charles in his very public feud with Jeffree Star earlier this year. But the real tea is when Phillip asked about Nikita’s thoughts on Shane’s new docuseries, The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star. Nikita said that she fears it may open up old wounds.
She continues on to say that she believes Shane is a good person and hopes that his new docuseries won’t reignite any drama that has since been resolved.
Enter Jeffree Star.
Jeffree took to Twitter Thursrday to post a very interesting tweet that read, “If you’re going to send me a PR package in hopes I help sell your boring, bland makeup, make sure you’ve said at least 2 words to me in the last year… Which you haven’t. Thanks – Management #ReturnToSender”
In true Jeffree Star fashion, he also took to Snapchat to further address his tweet.
But wait! There’s more…
While Jeffree continues on to say that he’s making a general statement and not talking about any one person in particular, he does mention that some people are trying to mess with him and Shane!
Of course, fans on Twitter went into a frenzy, with a lot of them speculating that the tweet and Snapchat stories were actually directed towards none other than Mama Dragun herself, especially after she opened up about how she really feels about Shane’s new series on Philllip DeFranco’s YouTube channel.
One fan tweeted, “Ohhhh you talking about @NikitaDragun”
Someone else said, “I think he is talking about Nikita Dragun’s face palette xD”
But some others think the tweet was directed towards Manny MUA, who Jeffree also had a falling out with.
Like this fan, who said, “I was thinking Nikita but it could possibly be Manny…I mean they did have a bad “breakup” in their friendship”
Some fans, like myself, are just downright confused. This fan posted a meme that perfectly sums up where I’m at currently.
Now grab your popcorn because things are about to get even more dramatic.
She goes on to say, “gonna let these b*****s speak on me and question my success. i’ll continue to run laps around them all day before they even figure out how i did it.
And of course, Mama Dragun took the chance to thank her loyal draguns, finishing her series of tweets by saying, “thank u to my real draguns! it’s funny how everytime they love to question how a b***h made it this far. but bb girl she’s not going anywhere sweetie. don’t u know not to play with a dragun ur gonna get burned.”
