Something worth noting in light of Trump’s earlier comments about deploying the military to Minnesota to quell protests: if he sends troops, it would have to be at the invitation of the state’s governor.

The rapper Killer Mike has addressed protesters in Atlanta after a troubled night that saw the city’s college football hall of fame damaged and looted. Killer Mike said that people should “plot, plan, strategise, organise and mobilise” for political change but not engage in violence. “You have a duty not to burn your own house down,” he said.
