Green Party MP Caroline Lucas has defended what she described as “legitimate” disruption of the M25 motorway by climate protesters.
She told Trevor Phillips: “As long as it is non-violent then I think we need to understand why protesters have taken this extreme action.”
Ms Lucas also says climate efforts in the UK are being “entirely undermined by government action at home”.
