Green Party MP Caroline Lucas feels the Government’s boiler upgrade scheme falls short as its not mandatory.
It comes ahead of Boris Johnson announcing plans that households will be able to apply for a £5,000 grant to swap their gas boiler for a low-carbon heat pump.
