Hailey Bieber just got a new neck tattoo and it definitely seems like it could be a Taylor Swift reference… and if you know anything about her husband Justin Bieber’s history with Taylor, this will have you asking about a million questions.
What’s up? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and I’m not sure if you remember, but a few days ago Hailey Bieber was spotted out in Los Angeles with a new visible neck tattoo.
At the time, Hailey’s new tattoo was too blurry to read, but her tattoo artist, Dr. Woo just posted a pic of the fresh ink and it looks oddly familiar.
This is the tattoo and then here’s this just for kicks and giggles.
Let’s get them side by side for a second.
Ok yep so I think we can all agree that Hailey’s tattoo says “Lover” in almost the exact same font as Taylor Swift’s new album.
Which is surprising for literally more reasons than I can count.
First of all, let’s start with the fact that Taylor and Hailey’s husband, Justin Bieber, are not getting along right now and haven’t been for years!
They just publicly confronted each other on social about the part Justin played in his manager Scooter Braun bullying Taylor.
And in that moment, Hailey supported her man in the comment section of his post.h
Also, we cannot forget that Taylor is long time BFFs with Selena Gomez, who we all know has a long, complicated history with Justin Bieber.
So that’s another reason why people are questioning why Hailey would literally get Taylor’s album title tattooed on her neck.
And I’m not the only one totally confused by this.
A number of Swifties have taken to Twitter to talk about how weirded out they are by Hailey’s new ink.
One person wrote quote, “hailey baldwin got “Lover” tattooed and maybe it’s not because of Lover by Taylor but the font is literally almost the same i don’t know what to do with this information”
And another said quote, “do NOT tell me hailey biebers “lover” tattoo is inspired by taylor’s song..”
And the poor tattoo artist Dr. Woo is being bombarded with shade in his comment section.
One person wrote quote, “Interesting choice since she came for our girl @taylorswift”
And another said quote, “Big fan of @taylorswift ?”
And honestly, if I had to guess, it has nothing to do with Taylor Swift, but it is a very interesting coincidence. Wouldn’t you agree?
