A lawyer representing a crew member on the film ‘Rust’ has claimed that a lack of safety measures on set amounted to ‘gross negligence’.
Script assistant Mamie Mitchell called 911 after the actor Alec Baldwin shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins with a prop gun, which contained a live bullet.
The film’s producers and Mr Baldwin have told Sky News they were not aware of any official complaint about props or weapon safety on set.
