Health Secretary Matt Hancock was expected to announce new lockdown restrictions but instead urged the public to stick to the current rules.
With the vaccine roll-out in full swing, Mr Hancock asked people not to ‘flex the rules’.
He also revealed the Government would not abolish support bubbles during the current lockdown.
