The Home Secretary is under pressure to explain how 400,000 crime records were accidentally deleted from a national database.
Labour leader Sir Kier Starmer said Priti Patel should take responsibility for the error and one senior police officer told Sky News that live investigations could be compromised, if the data is not retrieved.
