Chancellor Rishi Sunak has spoken at the the Conservative Party conference in Manchester.
During his speech he announced an extension of the Kickstart scheme and “elite AI” scholarships for disadvantaged young people.
He also admitted that the UK’s recovery from the COVID pandemic “comes with a cost”.
