Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie just had his debut on his first royal official tour, and we are all shocked by just how much he looks like his dad did as a baby.
What is up you guys? Happy Wednesday, It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and the adorable royal baby Archie just made his surprise tour debut.
We all remember anxiously awaiting little Archie’s arrival back in May.
Literally every day there was another theory about whether he’d been born yet or not, but he was actually born on May 6th.
Meghan and Harry broke tradition and decided not to pose for a photo on the steps of St Mary’s Hospital in London, like Kate and William did with all three of their children, and also like Diana did with Harry and William.
They did their own thing with their first born and one of our first looks at him was actually on their Instagram page.
They shared this pic and wrote quote, “Happy Father’s Day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex!”
But now, Archie just made his first official outing and he looks beyond cute.
He joined his parents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in South Africa.
The Sussex Royals were in South Africa to meet with anti-apartheid activist Archbishop Desmond Tutu, but all eyes were on Archie.
Meghan and Harry even shared a pic of Archie and Archbishop Tutu on their Instagram page.
They wrote quote, “Thank you Archbishop Tutu for your incredibly warm hospitality, Archie loved meeting you!’ – The Duke and Duchess”
And during the outing in Cape Town Meghan and Harry revealed new details about their son.
According to the Daily Mail Harry said quote, “He constantly wants to stand” and Meghan added quote, “He’s an old soul!”
Meghan also joked with the Archbishop’s daughter that the little royal would have have to get used the cameras in his life, and she responded that little Archie was quote, “going to be a ladies man.”
Harry added that he’s used to the cameras already.
And I mean, I have to agree, Archie was so calm throughout the entire outing.
Like what baby is this easy?!
He was calm and attentive and just smiled at the hosts and played in Meghan’s lap.
But as adorable as this all was, fans were distracted by something else.
They couldn’t help but notice how closely Archie resembles his dad when he was around the same age.
One person shared this video of Harry as a baby and Archie now and tweeted quote, “baby Harry and baby Archie we love parallels ksksks”
And another person shared these side by side pics and wrote quote, “Archie looks like baby Harry’s twin here ??”
But not only do they look alike but they were actually dressed alike too.
Fans think it was a touching tribute to Princess Diana because Archie wore a hat that was very similar to the one Diana chose for a baby Harry to wear in January 1985.
One person wrote quote, “Diana would be so in love with baby Archie. He really is a clone of his father. Archie Harrison (Harry’s son) ?♥️”
And another said quote, “Princess Diana would be proud. Archie looks a lot like Prince Harry. What a happy smiling baby.”
And I couldn’t agree more.
I love to see Meghan, Harry, and Archie so happy.
And I’m just glad we are getting to see more of little Archie. I can’t wait to see if he continues to look like Harry as he grows up.
