A major highway was flooded in Florida on Wednesday (August 30) as Hurricane Idalia neared the state.
Traffic camera images showed the I-275 Interstate flooded northbound as waves washed over the Howard Frankland Bridge in Tampa. The highway connects Tampa to the nearby city of St Petersburg across the Tampa Bay.
