Is the UK a role model on net zero?

The government has set out its net zero strategy, which includes a move towards ending the sale of new petrol and diesel cars. So, is the strategy a good example to the world?

Director of Power Shift Africa, Mohamed Adow, says he doesn’t think the strategy will “live up to the hype”, as Cardiff University lecturer Jen Allan adds that it’s “not enough to get us to net zero”.
