Comedian Jake Weddle recently opened up about why he distanced himself from working with MrBeast, as the YouTube giant, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, faces mounting controversies. MrBeast, with 309 million subscribers, has been under fire following the dismissal of long-time collaborator Ava Tyson over allegations of inappropriate conduct with a minor, and further accusations surfaced from former reality show contestants regarding poor conditions and injuries.
Additionally, resurfaced racist and homophobic comments from 2017 added to the backlash. Weddle’s revelations include claims of psychological and physical harm from participating in a scrapped solitary confinement video, as well as allegations of mistreatment and hush money, shared in a two-part documentary on YouTuber DogPack404’s channel.
