It’s a collab that we never saw coming. A collab we didn’t know we needed. A collab that we almost don’t deserve. But now, fans are demanding it.
What’s up guys it’s Emile Ennis Jr here with Clevver News and after Todrick Hall’s latest new music video, fans of his and Jeffree Star want to see the two making music video magic together. It all started yesterday – suddenly, then all at once. Todrick announced on his twitter that he was surprise dropping a new music video for his new song called “F**”.
He said “SURPRISE! My new music video for “F**” comes out in 30 minutes! I can’t wait for you to see it!”.He also took a minute during his car ride to the Big Brother Finale to announce the surprise release there as well.
Aaand then 10 minutes later he looped in everyone else on instagram, posting a still from the video along with the caption “SURPRISE! My new music video for “F** comes out in just 20 minutes!” Now, this music video really caught people off guard because Todrick just released his music video for “Wig” 4 days ago.
And I’d like to see your fav drop two bomb music videos in the same week. He also released the behind the scenes video for Wig on the same damn day as “F**” dropped.
So when this video dropped, people were surprised, and uh, really impressed.
I mean, the whole video was all done in one single shot. And considering he’s dancing the whole damn time, that’s no small feat. The lyrics too are actually really powerful. He’s clapping back at all the people who used to make fun of him for being feminine and gay.
He mentions how he’s famous and rich now, and that the people who used to make fun of him are now “delivering my pizza” And it got a lot of attention from fans – including one fan that we know very well, Jeffree Star.
And Todrick? Well he loved that. He shared Jeffree’s tweet to his instagram story. He also said “Thank you friend. I’m so gagged, this just made my night!” And it all went to hell from there! Fans of them both in the comments replied asking for a collaboration between the two of them.
And yes, in case you didn’t know, Jeffree Star has some bops as well. His last album that came out in 2009 has bops like “Louis Vuitton Body Bag” and “Lollipop Luxury” which actually features Nicki Minaj.
So yeah, this is definitely not out of the realm of possibility for Jeffree. Another fan said “Um HI…. Can get maybe get a song collab? Or a remix to this with J star???” But people aren’t going to be picky about what kind of collab we get. Someone else said “Todrick always kills it! When are you guys getting together for a makeup video collab?”
Now, don’t get the popcorn ready yet. Just because the fans want it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to happen. I mean, maybe Todrick and Jeffree should at least start following each other on Instagram first. But it’s certainly something that I would like to see.
And if they’re looking for a third they can call up Missy Elliot. She reached out to Todrick about the possibility of being in one of his upcoming videos. That’s right – there’s more on the way.
So all they gotta do is throw Jeffree in the mix and we’ll have the very weird, very gay version of “Don’t Call Me Angel” that we all need. I mean, imagine what a Todrick/Jeffree video would look like.
You know it would be flashy. And hopefully alien themed. We know they can both pull that off really well. “F**” and “Wig” both come off of Todrick’s new album, Haus Party, Part Two, which came out last week.
And Todrick says he’s making another video, so we’ll have to wait patiently to see what it is. In the meantime, what do you guys think? Do you want a Todrick Hall/Jeffree Star collab?
