President Biden has tested negative for COVID-19 and will end his period of isolation, his personal physician said Wednesday.
In a public memo, Dr. Kevin O’Connor wrote that Biden had initially tested negative Tuesday evening before a second test Wednesday morning confirmed he was COVID-free. The president was due to deliver remarks from the Rose Garden about his condition at 11:30 a.m.
“As of this morning, he has completed five full days of isolation,” O’Connor wrote of Biden. “He remains fever-free and he discontinued use of any acetaminophen (TYLENOL) for the past 36 hours.”
