After what seems like an eternity of wondering when Justin and Hailey Bieber will finally celebrate their marriage, we may actually have an official date after all… well, maybe.
What’s up guys, it’s your host Sussan Mourad back here on Clevver News, and long ago were the days we were sitting, waiting, wishing for Justin Bieber and Hailey-formerly-Baldwin to celebrate their love with a lavish ceremony and giant reception overlooking the ocean in Malibu or something super Hollywood.
Well, that day is actually still set to go down… ok, so by then, it’ll have been a whole 365 days later, but maybe we could just think of this delayed celebration as their ‘something old’? Anyway, a source close to the couple revealed to Us Weekly that the couple has put the whole ‘wedding thing’ back on the table saying QUOTE, “They have talked about possibly having their wedding closer to their one-year marriage anniversary date in September.”
Makes total sense, right? As we’re all well-aware by now, the two tied the knot last September in a super spur-of-the-moment itty bitty courthouse wedding in New York City. Following their impromptu gig, the plan was for them to still have a religious ceremony with friends and family… because if a celeb wedding isn’t featured as a front page spread in People Magazine, did it actually happen?
BUT those plans got put on hold this spring when Justin checked into rehab for depression back in February, and as of a month ago, Hailey’s older sister Alaia wasn’t even sure the plans were happening. She said QUOTE, “We will see. Who knows what their plans are. They’re very up and down, so I just… I’ll be there at some point in a dress, in sweats — we don’t know!”
Something tells Hailey would disown her sister for showing up to her wedding in sweats, but who am I to judge? And seeing that the happy couple didn’t start wearing their wedding rings in the public until literally this week, it’s 2019 and ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN GUYS. But I’m curious to hear your thoughts and predictions on when or if these two will have a wedding — shall we start taking bets? 10 on September!
