The Country Music Awards may have been last month, but Kacey Musgraves is still recovering from the hangover of her nightmares. But luckily for us, she lived to tell the tale. I told you about Kacey Musgraves having a massive hangover after partying with Willie Nelson at the CMAs in November.She had a great night at the award show, and of course, afterwards. That night, she hung out with Reese Witherspoon, Gigi Hadid, and Nicole KidmanAnd she ended up winning two major awards. She scored “music video of the year” for her song “Rainbow”.After that, she also won “female vocalist of the year” for the first time at the Country Music Awards. For that award, she beat out Carrie Underwood, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert, and Kelsea Ballerini. And after winning her second award of the night, she went backstage to talk to the press about her win.She finished by saying “And Willie’s bus is waiting on me, so I gotta go.”And she wasn’t kidding. The following day she tweeted “can you die from a hangover? asking for a friend who is actually me.”And since then, we’ve been trying to figure out what Kacey’s post-CMAs-party looked like, because her friend Willie Nelson is moreso known for smoking a bit of weed than he is for drinking. But now, come December, she’s doing the rounds on late night shows promoting her new Christmas special, “The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show”, featuring acts like Lana Del Rey, Troye Sivan, Kendall Jenner, and Dan Levy. And while we were busy trying to piece together Kacey’s fun night out, apparently so was she. Her latest stop was to The Late Late Show with James Corden where she gave a few details, or what she could remember at least, about her fateful night out. Of course, it all started on Willie Nelson’s bus, just like she said it did. Apparently they shared some pizza on his bus, which Willie seemed to really enjoy. I’m sure the weed helped that. I gotta say, I would KILL to go to an authentic Nashville honky-tonk with Willie Nelson and Kacey Musgraves. But the night certainly didn’t end there. In fact, that was only the beginning. Somehow, Kacey met back up with her friends and CMA seat neighbors – Reese and Gigi. Sooo how exactly did the night end? And that’s when she sent out that hangover tweet, I guess! Which, uh, did not lead to good results. Her fans tweeted back at her things like But Kacey had other plans in mind. She told James that her hangover cure remedy is simple – Gatorade. OH and this… Good advice! And what really came as a surprise to me was Rebel Wilson’s hangover experience. She was also a guest on James Coden’s show the same night. And when James asked her what her hangover cure was, she said that she’s never actually been drunk before! She blamed it on science class in high school, which taught her that alcohol kills brain cells. True! But neither James, Kacey, nor I could believe that she had never been drunk.She said that she lets herself have this fun, partygirl persona on instagram, but it’s all just for show. She didn’t have a sip of alcohol until she was 25. And was never drunk after that.So if Kacey were really smart, she’ll spent her next post-award show after party with Rebel.
