The Bachelorette’s Mike Johnson is certainly not afraid to publicly put himself out there. Or at least he wasn’t until recently! He’s already gone on a few dates with Demi Lovato, but it looks like he’s back on the market and already has his eyes set on Keke Palmer.
What’s up guys? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and many people fell for ‘The Bachelorette’s’ Mike Johnson on Hannah Brown’s season.
One of those people was Demi Lovato. The two of them publicly went on multiple dates and Mike even got candid about the uhhh romantic side of their relationship.
During an appearance on fellow Bachelor franchise alumns Ben Higgins and Ashley I’s “Almost Famous” podcast, Mike went IN on the Demi deets.
He had previously confirmed that the pair did end up connecting and going on a date together, but he also revealed that quote, “We’ve gone on more than one date.”
I also found it very interesting that he opened up about some of Demi’s qualities that he finds very attractive, and it might be more than you want to hear this early in the week, but don’t act like you don’t want to know more.
So while it sounded like these two were on track for a real romance, Mike is apparently single and on the market again.
It also appears that Mike has put his foot in his mouth! While speaking to Us Weekly, Mike admitted that he may have spilled too much tea about his romantic romps!
He said quote, ““I truly don’t like speaking on certain things. I’m getting in trouble with my homeboys right now about it. I’m learning. I’m still a human being. I’m not perfect. I’ve messed up in the past. They say geniuses learn from the mistakes of others and intelligent people learn from their own mistakes. I’m not a genius. I want to be intelligent. Therefore, I messed up and I’m going to try not to let it happen again.”
BUTTT those words must’ve been forgotten because on Monday’s episode of ‘Strahan, Sara & Keke,’ Mike made his intentions known with none other than Keke Palmer.
After being asked about his recent fling with Demi, Mike quickly changed the topic to him and Keke.

And Mike couldn’t even finish his thought before the audience started cheering.
Hey I mean, Mike knows how to shoot his shot! He’s certainly a man who knows what he wants…I just hope Demi Lovato isn’t an avid watcher of ‘Good Morning America’, because I’m sure it would’ve been really awkward for her to see that.
Keke was clearly caught off guard by the moment and taken aback so she just covered her face with her interview card.
And I have to say, all I can think about is this meme-able moment and how this is probably exactly what Keke is thinking.
She also jokingly just said “What’s the next question? What’s the next question?” to her co-hosts Michael and Sara to move on from the moment.
But Michael chimed in and said quote, “Demi’s my girl, I love Keke too now. You mess up and I’m coming for you. You don’t want that.”
While Sara opted for a more maternal approach and said quote, “We approve”, Michael came around to the idea and added quote, “You all look real good together sitting there. I ain’t gonna lie to you.”
But Keke continued to the dodge the awkward moment and just said “I’m at work” and cut to commercial break.
And fans have really mixed feelings about the moment. Some people are totally shipping these two, while others think Mike asking her out on live TV was inappropriate.
One fan wrote quote, “I love this. Micheal and Sara look like those hip parents or auntie and uncle that revel in tea.”
And another said quote, “LoL, Keke kept mentioning she’s single and joking about getting a man. Naturally, the suitors are lining up. ?”
But on the other side of the coin one person wrote quote, “I’m not a fan of these types of publicity stunts. I agree with Keke. She’s at work. If you’re interested in me you converse with me off camera. NEVER EVER INTERFERE WITH ME WHILE IM MAKING MY COINS???????.”
And another said quote, “He is coming off a little thirsty now with asking out publicly to two celebrities.”
Whatever your views, you gotta respect the hustle. And I don’t blame him for asking out Keke, she’s incredible and killing the game right now.
