Album release cycles are always so fun! Getting to see our favorite musicians doing interviews, being funny, and opening up about their personal lives. A lot of them will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, or make their rounds on late night shows. But if they’re SUPER talented, they get more than that. They become the hosts themselves. And that’s just what Harry Styles has been doing this week!
What’s up guys, it’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and Harry Styles just guest hosted the Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday night.
It was Harry’s second time filling in for James Corden, who is taking 7 days off of his nightly show to go shoot a new movie, “The Prom” – a musical movie also starring Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, Awkwafina, and Kerry Washington.
And while Harry was on set at CBS, he did all his usual antics, like making fun of Donald Trump in the opening monologue.
And got in some carpool karaoke.
But he did one segment a little differently, and it might have been the best 9 minutes of The Late Late Show that I’ve ever seen.
No offense James.
But Harry brought his rumored on again, off again girlfriend Kendall Jenner onto the show to play a little game of “fill your guts or spill your guts”
It started off pretty strong, with Kendall ranking her siblings’ parenting skills from best to worst.
Surprisingly, she gave Rob the number one spot! And Kourtney came in last place.
Though she did preface her answer by saying that all of her siblings are amazing parents.
And then she asked Harry a question that we’ve been waiting almost 3 years to know the answer to: she asked him what songs on his last album were about her!
But unfortunately, we’ll just have to keep waiting. Because Harry ate the cod sperm.
Don’t worry, Kendall ate some pretty gross stuff as well. Like this salmon smoothie when she didn’t want to say who the most unlikable supermodel is.
Kendall also didn’t want to answer who the most surprising celebrity that slid into her DMs.
But Harry, well, he wasn’t here for questions about his former One Direction bandmates.
Yikes! We can’t pretend that the task was too hard for Harry. He clearly has an answer in his head but doesn’t want to make that information public just yet.
Honestly, I think they both got off pretty easily during this game of Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.
I mean, the two were supposedly dating on and off for almost 2 years before finally calling it quits for the last time in February 2016.
There were rumors that the two were getting back together earlier this year, when Kendall was seen Facetiming somebody named Harry during an episode of Kylie’s youtube vlog.
Though who she was talking to was never answered definitely, the rumors were dispelled when consensus said that she was talking to longtime family friend Harry Hudson.
Still, Kendall and THIS Harry seem to be on pretty good terms. They were all laughs and smiles during the whole 9 minute segment.
But you know what? Kendall ALWAYS seems to be nothing but smiles when she’s around Harry.
Like, you’ll be hard pressed to find a photo of them together where she looks anything less than thrilled.
Here they are at the British fashion awards with their mutual friend Cara Delevigne.
And look at that smile on Kendall’s face. Have you ever seen her so happy?
Sure, okay, so this photo was taken in 2014 – before all the relationship drama and breakups that they had.
But then let me present you with exhibit B!
Kendall and Harry at the 2019 Met Gala.
This is 3 years after their 2016 breakup. And still, nothing but smiles from Kendall.
She’s practically glowing! Oh, that might just be her orange feathers and highlighter that she’s wearing. But still!
And take a look at both of their body language too. She’s touching her face and hair. They’re standing super close to each other.
And um, correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that his hand on her waist?
I mean, Harry looks pretty pleased to be a part of this conversation as well.
So I’m not saying that they’re going to get back together in the new year, but from the looks of this Fill Your Guts or Spill Your Guts episode, you can definitely see that they at least are enjoying each other’s company.
