In a gruesome incident, a pregnant wild elephant died after it was fed explosive-packed pineapple at Mannarkkad forest areas bordering Palakkad and Malappuram districts of Kerala. The pregnant elephant got badly injured when she chewed the pineapple. In order to get relief from the burnt wound, she dipped her mouth in the pond and at the same time, she died while standing in the pond. The matter came to light when a forest officer mentioned this dreadful incident on his Facebook wall. Watch the video for more details.
