The Minister for Crime and Policing, Kit Malthouse, says if you are uncertain of a police officer’s legitimacy, call 999.
Mr Malthouse says that what happened to Sarah Everard is ‘horrendous’ and insists that the government and the police are looking into how it happened and how to prevent it happening again in the future.
