Kylie Jenner and her BFF Stassi recently underwent major surgeries together, solidifying their sister-like-friendship more than ever before.
What’s up guys, it’s Emile Ennis Jr. back here with Clevver News, and if you didn’t know, well, now you know that Kylie Jenner and Stassi are besties that do everything together… like ACTUALLY EVERYTHING!
In doing so, Stassie revealed that Kylie was also going under the knife to get her eyes fixed as well.
Stassie revealed, “Guess who can see? We just got our follow-up appointment from the doctor and we see 20/15, better than 20/20 vision.”
And if anyone has the funds to throw a party for their newfound vision, leave it to the friend group of Kylie Jenner.
A friend of theirs decided to throw them a party to celebrate the birth of their vision. They wore matching dresses and even rented a party bus.
But the celebrations don’t stop there, you guys. If you’ve been paying attention to any sort of social media, meme, or your best friend singing, “Riiiiise and shiiine” lately, you’d probably know that Kylie Jenner was the latest victim of viral success.
I take that back. There are no victims in this situation, because Kylie is literally about to make millions yet again off of another venture.
It took maybe, like, four minutes for Kylie to turn this weird audio clip into a solid revenue stream. The makeup mogul has already trademarked the rights to “Rise and Shine”… you probably have so many questions like… is this legal? How has this not been trademarked before? Why didn’t I think of this?
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Kylie ended up filing multiple trademark applications for the catchphrase that blew up the internet after she sang the words to wake up her daughter Stormi Webster.
If approved, the trademark would cover all sorts of products, like “belts, pants, coats, dresses, footwear, gloves, headbands, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, sleepwear, socks, swimwear, and undergarments as well as cosmetics.”
So you’re probably thinking, what “multiple” trademark applications could there be? So if you were thinking you were going to outsmart the billionaire and add a few extra “i’s” to the mix, fat chance.
This girl went full Bill Gates smart-status and also snagged “Riiise and Shiiine”. That’s three ‘I’s in each phrase! Ahhh, the age we live in, amiright?!
So on the one hand, Kylie is laughing all the way to the bank… Twitter, on the other hand? Not feelin’ it.
Then again, the fans were the ones who made this happen, so y’all only have yourselves to blame here.
Kylie’s team has designed two hoodies with “riiise and shiiinnee” so far with Kylie’s face surrounded by what could only resemble the Telletubbies sunshine on the front.
And in a not-surprising turn of events, they were going for $65 and have already sold out, which just goes to show that the powers of Kris Jenner are unmatched.
But back to Twitter being pissed. Many fans have trolled her social media pages with snarky remarks like, “I just trademarked Good Morning.”
Another fan wrote, “This shouldn’t be granted. I feel like this is like the phrase, Happy Birthday.”
Oh, and this gem: “Someone needs to stop them or soon they’ll trademark Sun and Earth.”
Seriously, I’m about to have a word with the trademark dudes, and make a profit off of trademarking, “and,” “if,” “but,” “you,” “me” or, like, the alphabet or something.
But in other news, Kanye West’s “Sunday Service” trademark application was recently rejected because someone else already owns it, and it would “cause confusion in the marketplace.
Just this once, I think it’s safe to say that “The devil works hard, Kris Jenner works harder, but the KarJenner trademark lawyers are workin’ double overtime” these days.
Anyway, let’s circle back to Kylie and Stassi… let me hear all your thoughts on the BFF’s joint operation… too far, orrr are you not at all surprised?
And if you were one of the repulsed bunch after Kylie’s “Rise and Shine” business venture broke out, feel free to vent it out down here in the comments.
