Some like to get even, but it seems as though Khloe Kardashian is living by the whole ‘forgive and forget’ movement, because life’s just too dang short, ya know?
What’s up guys, welcome back to Clevver News, I’m your host Sussan Mourad and once again, Khloe Kardashian is airing out some thoughts.
Yes, yes, I know, same ish, different day, but this time her thoughts don’t come in the form of a Pinterest inspirational quote, and more in the form of one of those tell-all podcasts…
By the way, is it just me, or do celebs seem to let it ALL out on podcasts? Like, you want some dirt, tune in to the latest celeb-guested podcast. (And Clevver News of course)
That said, we’re in for a treat today. It’s been eight months since Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s breakup went public after the Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson cheating scandal broke.
I know you know the story, so we’ll get straight to the goods. During an appearance on yesterday’s episode of Jay Shetty’s podcast, ‘On Purpose’, Khloe revealed that since her breakup, dating hasn’t exactly been a priority to her.
She said QUOTE, “I haven’t jumped into dating, I don’t care to date right now. I’m not in a rush for it, I feel so good in my life, and I don’t really need much else.”
And can I just say with a little baby girl like True… I wouldn’t need much else either!
Khloe added that there’s one thing she’s really been focusing on this year. She said quote, “Something that I’m focusing on is just making sure I process everything. I think, especially in my family, we are good at moving on. We have very big, forgiving hearts, we just move on, but we don’t really talk about things that happened. I don’t really know if that’s healthy or not.”
But after all is said and done, one thing that Khloe seems to really be focusing on is being the bigger person, which, if we’re being honest, she’s had plenty of practice with that this year.
On the podcast, she also admitted to “forgiving” Tristan, claiming that he’s not a “bad person”, but that all humans just make mistakes.
She said, “It’s only going to hurt me if I’m holding onto this anger and playing this victim role. I don’t believe in being a victim. I believe in ‘Okay this happened to me, let’s figure it out, let’s push through it,’ and maybe if I am open and honest about it, it can help other people feel like, ‘It’s okay, we are all human, we are all going to get through things.’”
You gotta admit, KoKo has a lot of strength.
KoKo then went on to explain that she believes we’re all so quick to exile people for sinning differently than oneself. She seems to be in a good place in her life as she’s working on making sure she’s healed from being so quick to place judgement.
One way she’s doing so is by making sure her mornings are filled with “me time” where she filters through the struggles that are weighing her down.
And while Khloe admits she appreciates the sympathy from fans, she’s putting things in perspective, and to not let herself fall victim to the entire situation.
She said, “It is natural to almost be the victim. Especially when you are on this platform and the whole world is like, ‘Oh I feel so bad for you.’ It’s like ‘Okay thank you, but this has also happened I’m sure to like hundreds of people before.’ Not saying that it’s right, I’m just saying I’m not going to die. We’re all fine.”
Most importantly, it seems Khloe is in a forgiving mindset as a lesson to her daughter, True. She wants to show their daughter that it’s a beautiful thing to forgive her father, stating that he’s still a great person.
Anyway, we’ve got a lot to discuss, so right now I gotta know what you think about Khloe’s interview. Do you think she and Tristan have a chance of getting back together? And do you think Kylie and Travis will work things out?
