Kylie Jenner has just revealed the theme for her new Kylie Cosmetics birthday collection and let’s just say it’s very on brand for her and any billionaire for that matter… have you figured out the theme??? MONEY! Yes, like actual cold hard cash.
What’s up guys? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and Kylie Jenner is leaning in to her title as the youngest “self-made” billionaire on the heels of her 22nd birthday, and let’s just say fans are NOT THRILLED.
Her new “Money” collection drops on her actual birthday which is August 10th. The collection includes pretty much every makeup product you’d need. There’s a new eyeshadow palette, liquid lipsticks and glosses, liquid eyeshadows, highlighters, an all-over body highlighter, and Kylie’s first-ever liquid eyeliner and face primer. However, Kylie has never been known for being subtle about her riches and this collection is truly rubbing her money in our faces.
Both the packaging and product names refer to cash with names like “Time is Money,” “Stacks,” “Work For It” and, ironically enough, “Money Ain’t Everything.” She even has her face printed on $100 bills.
I just love how humble she is.
All jokes aside. She is doing something
ing positive because she revealed that she is going to be giving away earnings from this collection to charity which I love.
But that didn’t stop the trolls from calling her out for being “tone deaf” with this theme.
One person wrote quote, “Kylie Jenner releasing a money themed makeup collection in honor of her birthday is so… tone deaf”
And another said quote, “Could’ve been idk… like a flower power 70’s vibe (feminism), Leo themed like idk literally anything else that doesn’t rub it in the consumers face that she’s rich and they’re poor and being overcharged for her sub par makeup”
But these tweets aren’t cramping Kylie’s style. She and her sister Khloe Kardashian are filming a drunk “Get Ready With Me” for Kylie’s YouTube channel.
Yes Kylie is a YouTuber now, don’t @ me.
“I’ve never done my makeup wasted before”
And it honestly looks like it’s going to be hilarious.
