Labour’s shadow chief secretary to the Treasury Bridget Phillipson tells Sophy Ridge the party supports the introduction of a second lockdown.
But she says it has “come too late to have the full effect a circuit breaker would have had”.
Ms Phillipson adds that ministers have been “too slow on this.”
