So by now we know that Lil Nas X has officially come out of the closet as a member of the LGBTQ community, and now his celebrity friends are coming out to support him
What’s up guys it’s Emile Ennis Jr with Clevver News and after Lil Nas X posted something a little concerning, his famous friends came to the comments to show their love and support
He posted this to his Instagram earlier today, insinuating that he has been getting some hate after coming out earlier this week.
The caption says “say one more home of phobic thing to me”
But the good certainly outweighs the bad, with lots of people posting supporting comments.
Like Diplo, saying “we love you tho”
Or Dwayne Wade, basketball player slash husband to Gabrielle Union, who commented “focus on all the good in your life. Don’t allow these fools to get to you. It’s a lot of us out here proud of who and what you represent”
Maybe you remember in April when Dwayne posted a photo on his Instagram of his son and his wife at the Miami pride parade with the caption “we support each other with pride”
And Shangela, a drag queen and actress, posted “Be Proud of U! All parts of you. I’m proud of you.”
Lil Nas has also hung out with other big stars lately like Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Miley Cyrus
Oh, and of course brother nature
And despite the hateful comments, Lil Nas X has a good attitude about the whole thing. He mocked the haters by tweeting
“Just got news that I’m gay and I will no longer be streaming my music. I’m sorry that shit is just not ok”
Well he might not be streaming his music, but I’ll be here listening to Panini on repeat.
At least until he drops that collab with Taylor that he’s hoping for
