International Trade Secretary Liz Truss says Boris Johnson “met the costs of the refurbishment” of his Downing Street flat.
“That is very clear, he’s acted completely in line with the rules,” she added.
Asked when the PM paid for the costs, Ms Truss said: “The Prime Minister met the costs of the flat refurbishment, everything has been done in line with the rules.”
