Three Dog Night summed it up nicely when they sang… “One is the loneliest number that you’ll ever do… “ This next list is all about being number one, and not in a good way. These poor animals know firsthand how lonely ONE can be. They were all the last of their kind or were abandoned to live a life alone in solidarity with no other similar animal friends in sight. Don’t get too teary because some of them didn’t even know they were lonely… let’s hope anyway.
