Noah Cyrus is opening up about her battle with anxiety and depression and Miley Cyrus is embracing her new “basic” self on social media. And we are just here for the Cyrus sisters living their best, most authentic lives.

What’s up? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and Noah Cyrus has been open in the past about her struggles with mental health.

She’s talked about the impact her mental health battle has had on her music. When talking about her EP Good Cry she said told L’Officiel USA that quote, “This EP is mostly just about how my emotions have been, and about my anxiety, and about how I’ve been struggling with depression, and how it’s okay to feel those feelings.”

And even after releasing that raw EP, she’s very still open about her mental health. During Tuesday’s episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, Noah was asked about her LONELY collection.

The collection, an apparel line, was launched in partnership with The Crystal Campaign to support The Jed Foundation. The Jed Foundation is a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for teens and young adults across America.

The line was inspired by Noah’s new song Lonely and she has been outspoken about how important both the line and the song are to her on her Instagram.

She wrote quote, “im so happy to see that Lonely is serving its purpose out in the world. its amazing how much ive seen this song connect with so many people. being able to create and sing music that helps people makes me fulfilled with happiness. thats all ive ever wanted to do through music ?”

Noah also opened up to James about why this song and collection are so important for her.

She revealed that she wants to be able to reach and help others through the platform she has been given.

Noah then opened up about how she wanted to use her anxieties “for good and not evil.”

She said quote, “Don’t let it take over my life like it has been for all of these years. I want to be able to talk about it, raise awareness and let kids all around the world know they’re not alone.”

In the past, Noah has also admitted that negative comments online have made her anxiety worse.

She told Refinery 29 that quote, “Negative comments on Instagram were really affecting me. Like, really bad. I was getting really depressed from them, and hurt, and would cry for hours over things. It was killing me every time I read something slightly hurtful, and I just couldn’t take it anymore.”

But she’s been able to connect with her fans about their similar struggles and let it out in her music.

And her fans love her for being so open about what she is going through and for using her platform for good.

One person tweeted saying quote, “she is such an inspiration and I admire her strong willpower despite having anxiety and depression for quite a long time. her songs relate to me on another level too!! ?”

And another said quote, “Noah Cyrus is a blessing. @noahcyrus is dropping her LONELY merch tomorrow and the proceeds are going to mental health charity. This brings me great joy, definitely investing in this, she is a queen.”

And before we get into the next part of the story, I just wanted to mention that if are experiencing anxiety or depression and are in need of crisis support, please don’t hesitate to call the Crisis Call Center’s 24-hour hotline at 1-775-784-8090.
Ok let’s shift gears and move on to the other Cyrus sister who is also being open about where she’s at in life.

According to Miley, she’s embracing her new self and apparently she’s getting more and more basic by the day. Her words, NOT MINE!

On Tuesday she posted a number of bathroom mirror selfies to her IG, where she showed off two different versions of the same outfit.

The outfit was a cropped white tank and denim shorts with her tattoos and nipples on full display.

She wrote quote, “I’m getting more basic by the day. The only thing the “new me” loves more than a mirror selfie is a self timed one. PS this is getting removed soon! I’ve been warned by the gram gods!”
