Fresh off of her new EP “She is Coming” Miley Cyrus had a scary encounter with a fan during her trip to Spain.
What’s up guys, it’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News. So over the weekend, Miley Cyrus was in Barcelona to perform at the Primavera Sound music festival, replacing Cardi B after she dropped off the lineup last minute.
Plastic Surgery Probs, ya no!
On Sunday, two days after her performance at the festival, somebody uploaded a video of Miley and her husband Liam walking through a sea of fans while leaving their hotel. You can see in the clip an older man, first grabbing at Miley’s hair and then immediately putting his arm around her to pull her closer.
Miley tries to pull away from the man and grabs at her husband for help. Luckily, Miley’s security stepped in to separate the singer from the deranged fan just in time.
Liam was in front of Miley and didn’t realize what was happening until it was over, which, honestly, was probably lucky for the guy grabbing at his wife.
When Liam realised what was happening, we see him he put his arm around Miley protectively, and the two then make it into the limo.
The video gained popularity on Twitter, with fans all coming to the same conclusion. As tweeted by Pop Crave, “A fan got way too close and personal with Miley Cyrus as she and her husband Liam Hemsworth were trying to leave their Barcelona hotel.”
One person was really upset over the attack and tweeted: “Electric (I can’t stress this enough) CHAIR.
While another said: “Jail, period.”
And finally…. in response to another tweet, this fan wrote “Not a great job security.
People should be nowhere that close.
Too many whack jobs out there.
She’s to vulnerable in that crowd.”
YIKES, some of the punishment being dished out on Twitter is seriously intense, not sure what the law is on all this, but there definitely needs to be some sort of punishment!
Miley has yet to speak out about the encounter… but she is making it well known that “SHE IS COMING” is out and promoting the hell out of it!
It’s incidents like these that remind us that celebrities are people too and it’s never OK to treat anybody like this. As fans, we have to make sure we’re giving them space and respecting their privacy.
