Oh no! Miley Cyrus just had to get vocal cord surgery and is currently recovering at home, but at least she has her man Cody Simpson by her side!
What’s up? It’s Erin Robinson here with Clevver News and Miley Cyrus just underwent a pretty intense surgery. Poor thing! She had to get surgery on her vocal cords and vocal cord surgery is no joke… especially when your job is singing. Many singers absolutely dread having to go through this surgery.But according to People magazine, the surgery went well and Miley is just resting up now.A source told them that quote, “The surgery went well and she is resting up at home now. Miley has known for a while that she needed the surgery.”But the recovery isn’t an exactly easy process, Miley will have to rest her voice.Which means she definitely won’t be doing this…Or this…And definitely not this…And that must be SO tough. No talking at all?! I know I certainly would struggle with that. Hello, look at what I’m doing right now, TALKING. It’s what I do best.How is she communicating with people? I imagine a little something like this.But luckily for Miley, she’s got her super supportive man, Cody Simpson by her side as she heals.And yeah, nothing about Miley and Cody is boring at all whatsoever.These two have been dancing, singing, and making out all of the internet since they got together over a month ago now.So I’m sure they are finding plenty to do that doesn’t involve talking. Like watching a movie! Get your head out of the gutter.Anyway, this isn’t the first time Cody has been there with Miley during some medical issues.He was also by her side when she was hospitalized for tonsillitis last month.They were sharing pics and videos from the hospital and seemed to be making the best of an unfortunate situation.
And I am actually starting to ship these two.They were friends for years before they got together and it seems like they have a strong foundation.I don’t know, at first I thought it was a fling, but to be by someone’s side for two hospitalizations? That seems legit to me.And I’m not alone celebs are shipping Miley and Cody too.Who knows, if these two will last forever but as long as they are happy, I’m happy for them. And it was actually during Miley’s first hospitalization when Cody came and stayed by her side that learned about her vocal cord issue, which she had unknowingly had for years.So we’re just glad she caught it when she did and got the surgery she needed.We have to protect that raspy voice at all costs! And unfortunately, because the recovery process involves a few weeks of silence, Miley has had to put her recording plans on hold and won’t be releasing new music this year.It looks like we will have to wait until 2020, which luckily is only a couple months away.But other fans can’t help but notice the irony in the situation.
They have made a very funny observation and have been taking to Twitter to throw it back to her Hannah Montana days.
