The mother of a 21-year-old Israeli woman who has been missing since terrorists bombarded an outdoor rave near Gaza issued a desperate plea to Hamas, telling her daughter’s captors that they can still “change their ways” and return her safely.
Ahuva Maizel said she could hear gunshots ringing out when she last spoke to her daughter Adi Maizel over the phone at about 7:40 a.m. Saturday.
“I’m talking to everyone who will listen to me because maybe my daughter will hear me or see me,” the devastated mother said during a Zoom press conference Monday, according to Times of Israel.
“Or maybe the one who is holding her [captive] will hear me and I’m telling you, I’m asking you as a human being to a human being: We have the same DNA, we are not animals, you can change your ways and you can bring them back.”
