Sky News has been told that a cyber attack against part of the Ministry of Defence had a ‘significant’ impact.
The hack targeted the Defence Academy, an institution that trains around 28,000 military personnel, diplomats and civil servants every year.
Deborah Haynes spoke to Air Marshal Edward Stringer, who was the academy’s director-general at the time of the attack.
