Gone to New York over a year, William surprises his mother in San Bernandino, California, when he visited her for the holidays on December 13, 2020.
At first, his mom was distracted by her granddaughter, putting much of her attention towards the baby. William’s mom doesn’t notice he’s behind her, ready to surprise her. William taps her on the shoulder and her leg, but she continues not to notice.
When she leans her head down and looks back, she slightly noticed someone behind her, that’s when she realizes it was actually William.
Her reaction was priceless; she couldn’t’ believe it was him as she cried with joy to see her son for the holidays.
William told Newsflare: “Due to COVID-19, she thought [I] wasn’t able to be with the family for Christmas and her birthday that year, despite not having seen each other for almost a year. [I] was able to get multiple tests, and quarantine to ensure it was safe to visit her.”
