This cool but unnerving footage, from June 27, captures a swarm of bees moving into their new hive at a farm in Oakland County, Michigan.
Watch as this brave beekeeper shakes a tree branch full of thousand of bees, causing the swarm of insects to fly off buzzing.
“I got the chance to watch a swarm of bees from a friend’s personal bee farm. The hive they were moved into was just the initial dropbox, but due to the size of the swarm had to have a second story added to the initial hive box,” said Natalie Garvey, the filmer.
